Apart from growing chillies we aim to grow other high demand cash crops for the domestic market. In the near future we will also utilise some of our land to plant durian trees as we see a continuing medium and long term demand for this fruit.

Presently we also undertake contract farming for our business partners who see investment opportunities in agriculture but really do not want to bothered with the nitty-gritty of daily farming.

At this time GFH has 440 acres of land. Currently we have 20 acres producing high yields of the well regarded Sakata 461 Hot Pepper F1 Hybrid (Benih Cili Kulai) chilli variety. By mid 2021 we expect that add an additional 40 to 60 acres of chilli to further our market leadership ambition.

We will also grow other much in demand cash-crops for ourselves as well as for our contract farming clients.

GFH has invested in the application of the latest agri-technology to ensure both high yields and quality produce. The application of technology also enables us to achieve efficient and sustainable use of our land and other resources. We regularly re-evaluate our practices and processes as part of an ongoing effort to reduce waste and minimise any negative impact that farming may have on the environment.

The company is also strategically acquiring more land across Malaysia to expand our footprint in the sector. The objective here is to be able to produce and supply fresh cash crops to satisfy nearby local demand that is delivered through local distribution channels. This not only ensures prime freshness but also improves product affordability by lowering transportation costs and losses through handling damage.
